Mission (What We Strive to Do)

Relentless Bible Church exists to teach, love, show, and cultivate the true teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ.

RBC aims to love, cultivate, and cherish Christ-exalting community by caring for every aspect of the human condition. From Christian education and fellowship to social justice advocacy and mutual aid, RBC is a church for God’s people, by God’s people, and accountable to God’s people.

BE JESUS

At RBC, we believe in the true teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, as outlined explicitly in Matthew 5. We believe that to profess Jesus is to strive to be like Jesus, and to be like Jesus means feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, serving the poor, visiting the incarcerated, praying without ceasing, being salt and light to the Earth, standing up for the marginalized, and boldly proclaiming the Kingdom of God that is to come.

We believe love is the single most powerful force in the world for establishing systems of mutual aid, dismantling institutions of systemic racism, oppression, and anti-intellectualism, and gradually creating the world as it should be. The Lord Jesus Christ calls us to love one another and informs us that by our love, the world will know that we are his disciples. At RBC, we are passionate about relentlessly loving our neighbors, our community, our family, our friends, our city, and our world.

At RBC, we believe in the resurrected Christ. We believe that Jesus will soon come back to judge the living and the dead. We believe that a pronounced profession in Christ is the key to salvation. Having these beliefs, we are RELENTLESS in our pursuit of Christian education, social justice, political and economic liberation, and in sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.
